I have combed round all the news media outlets in Ghana , be it online , news papers etc, to see our media talk about or write sth about the celebration of Bugum festival , but could not find it.
The only mentioned of the festival was about the fatal accident occurred during the celebration in Tamale.
It's shameful and callous , for our media to not educate or tell Ghanaians sth about the festival. Had it been festivals like, Homowo and the likes celebrated by the southern people, you'd seen all manner of prominent reportage about it.
It's clear that our media has lost its duty to inform and educate without bias.
Why should they chose to report only when an accident has occurred in the cause of the celebration?. Only to paint Dagbang black.
We'll not accept their desire and schemings about Dagbang. We the sons and daughters of Dagbang will match them squarely.
Nothing good about the Dagbang is giving any prominence by these people, only negative stories they write. Anything good about Dagbang will not be catchy to the media.
They've lost their moral and ethical standards . Shame on them.
