Our findings are that, a letter with reference number NCS/ADM/MGT/018/S.234/C purported to have been signed by Abdullahi D. I. CFR, the Comptroller-General of Customs presented to government and strategically sent to the media in Ghana is of no authenticity as such letter could still not be found in the archives of the office of the Comptroller-General of Customs. The letter signed 2nd July, 2015 also raised suspicion as the Comptroller- General was in the first week of July attending to family issues (final funeral rites of his late father) at his hometown of Musawa, Musawa Local Government in Katsina State. Who had then signed the letter initiated by West Blue Consulting to convince Ghanaians that they are competent and credible?
The Minister of Communication Edward Omane Boamah who should know about this purported letter signed by Abdullahi D. I. the Comptroller-General of Nigeria Customs should tell Ghanaians how Pres. John Mahama's NDC gov't came by this letter when it is clear from this story, he was no where near his office and has never vouched for the competence of West Blue in Nigeria or anywhere in Africa?
To the best of his knowledge and Madam Ngozi Iweala, West Blue Consulting does not have the competence and is actually incompetent, does not have the capacity, is incapable and lacks the ability to manage the single window platform and was the reason why West Blue was sacked in Nigeria. So how did Edward Omane Boamah get this letter purported to have been signed by Abdullahi, D. I? Who signed that purported letter?
The Ghana-ADB loan non-payment saga which landed Ghana on that list, comes readily to mind where this Mahama NDC gov't was exposed for non-payment of loans owed ADB, and Omane Boamah and Co. were found conjuring all sorts of letters literally from the skies.
What is the Mahama NDC gov't's interest in this sole-sourced "we want 5 destination companies to bring $35million dollars each" West Blue Consulting contract when they lack the competence, capacity, ability and experience for this single window platform?
