Her actions were, to say the least, crass and unwarranted. She should have designated one of her underlings to do the dirty work on her behalf. No ambassador worth his/her salt will stoop this low. The position carries with it a lot of responsibilities and one them is to behave in a manner that portrays your nation in a positive light. Unfortunately, this woman fell distressingly short.

Whatever prompted her to embark on such a black-on-black confrontation was ill-motivated and ill-advised. People would react the same way if she had taken on the only white journalist among a group of black journalists. Black or white, a journalist is a journalist and she should accord them with the same respect. If she genuinely needed to avoid gate-crashers at her official function she could have applied some circumspection rather than the indiscretion and instead of the random pick, Ambassador Densua should have asked each journalist present to produce their letter of invitation. She showed bias against a fellow Ghanaian when was at the event as Ghana 's envoy to Germany. Akua Densua must render an unqualified apology to Musa and for lowering the flag of Ghana instead of lifting it high the President must recall her immediately.
