There are some people who no matter the circumstances and odds, will, at one time or the other show one kind of outstanding talent or the other. Such people are sometimes referred to as freaks. This Dr Mensah is one such character.
It is well and good that he has achieved so much for the country that he has now apparently made his home to the disadvantage of his native country. However what I disagree with him on is his clearly unjustified, incorrect and patronizing statement to the people - especially "the youth of the world", to the effect that if they work hard enough they too can make it. This privilege does not generally exist for African-Americans.
Surely Dr Mensah cannot claim to be unaware or ignorant of the greater amounts of hard work that especially Black people in the US have contributed and died in the process of doing so, to the development of that country without getting any kudos or appreciable returns for it.
In many cases, discoveries that have been made by Black people were unfairly misappropriated and they were not acknowledged and neither were they therefore compensated for being the initiators.
White America has never even minimally acknowledged the albeit despicable role that many millions of unpaid Black slaves were forced to in the cotton, watermelon, maize, wheat and dairy plantations that made America great. Neither has white America ever shown any kind of remorse for that unparalleled crime against humanity that was randomly perpetrated against the Black people of America.
The very fact that whoever it is who wrote the article conveniently forgot to give credit to the country and the educational institutions that initially nurtured the man, is in itself just another example of how they isolate, denigrate, relegate and exclude the necessary appreciation of the good things that come out of the Blackman and Africa.
The following excerpt from a speech by Malcolm X tells it all. . ."They have a new gimmick every year. They're going to take one of their boys, black boys, and put him in the cabinet so he can walk around Washington with a cigar. Fire on one end and fool on the other end. And because his immediate personal problem will have been solved he will be the one to tell our people: 'Look how much progress we're making. I'm in Washington, D.C., I can have tea in the White House. I'm your spokesman, I'm your leader.' While our people are still living in Harlem in the slums. Still receiving the worst form of education.". . . . Malcolm X, Jan. 7, 1965 speech
The insinuation, as expressed in the title of Dr Mensah's book, "The Right Stuff Comes in Black, Too", suggests that he holds the same opinions as I do but he appears to be either a little naive about it or polite about it.

How on earth can one reduce this news to another round of insulting Ewes aa useless and Akans super superior beings? Does this jerk, this obvious loser, think that Ewes view themselves through his opague ethnocentric lenses? So, can he tell us what makes him more worthy as an Akan than say me and my children?
It is such a pity that he is not alone in holding such an image of Ewes, as the warped mentality permeates the Akan ethnic group in general. Only a minority of them have transcended that inherited ethnocentric native prejudices against others. IT WAS LONG OVERDUE TO SEND THEM TO RE-EDUCATION CAMPS!

Vote for CPP. It is the only party that have always listened and will continue to listen and implement excellent policies that will give Ghanaians their economic, political and social will. To us independence means self reliant ad Ghanaians are people who are very hard working and resourceful and so a very self reliant people. That is what CPP will provide.

Magnificent to remind suckers. Let talk about capitalist stocks. Like maddock gates, steve jobs and the many out there. How many africans in the continent, I mean living on the continent understands stocks, to trade in stocks for the riches coming from stock trading. We have our cocoa, gold, oil, bauxites, latex, silicon, copper, uranium and many more natural resources trading in whitemen stocks except casava, bushmeat and plantain which they did not want. How many of our indigenous folks think about stocks to benefit from it?
what took them so long to honor Dr. Mensah who invented fiber optics of GHANAIAN HERITAGE.? You think about it for some sense into mind.

YOU WANT TO JOIN THE ILLUMINATI,,,,,,
Dear Influential Individual,
We are delighted that your life’s journey has led you to discover our organization.
Maybe you have met one of our members in the flesh. Or perhaps not; we value anonymity. We see and know all just as a shepherd sees and knows all of the flock, our eyes peering over the masses to identify any threat. We are the bringers of new dawns, the guardians of the human species. We are the Pyramid, the Eye, the Light, the Eternal. We are the Illuminati.
The Illuminati is a collective of prominent figures throughout the world who have united to guard the human species from extinction. Our members bear the burden of a planet’s leadership with the lives of 7 billion in their hands. As the human continues to rise above its other animal counterparts, governing of the planet has turned into a daunting task.
In return for their loyalty, our ranking members are presented the opportunity for lives of limitless wealth and opportunity. Once a member, the requirements are unimposing and often spaced between many years. Our requests are simple and therefore may be hard to comprehend, but disloyalty is not tolerated. You must understand this before applying. Members must fulfill their oaths to the Illuminati under every circumstance and recognize that they are merely one part of a much larger Universal Design.
For centuries, our organization has separated individuals of outstanding political, financial, or cultural influence from the flock, and established them as shepherds of the human species. Perhaps you have already proven yourself in these fields. For that, the Illuminati officially congratulates you. Your dedication gives hope to us for the future of the human species.
If you would like to continue your application, ADD ME NOW on facebook:cole alexandra for more information.
