I appreciate GCAO statement. We identify with the disaster which has befallen our brothers and sisters in Accra-Ghana. Now we need to act quickly to assist the victims. Let's put politics aside and raise funds here and it through either ADRA or World Vision which have established offices in Ghana to make sure our assistance get to the real victims who need it. God have mercy on our beloved homeland, Ghana!!!!

The President, Minister of Energy, Lands and Public Works should all be charged for murder. They have refused to improve the infrastructures in the country. leaving people to build houses without constructing drainage, roads and sewer systems. All they care about is stealing money and building big houses and driving big cars in those tight roads. The country has no LEADERSHIP, and without that you will continue to see things like this happening. These guys don't care about the ordinary people. They are selfish and full of corruption. Every year floods kill hundreds of people and yet still nothing is done.
Sorry for the relatives of the victims because absolutely nothing will come out of this. Next year again we will be seeing more news about floods in Ghana.

Thanks for remembering us from far away Canada. Well will surely pray as we have been doing every day even before the disaster. But do you think prayers alone without the appropriate efforts to solve the cause of the problems is the way to go? Of course nott. Heaven helps those who help themselves.
The cause of the floods problems have been identified many years ago and every year we go through the same cycle. GOD had made it possible for a loan to be granted us to the extent that President Ata-Mills even cut the sod to start work on construction of storm drains etc. that would alleviate the effects of the floods, but there are doubts as to where the loaned money is !! What else should God do? Our fate is in our own hands, God is by now fed up with our foolishness.
