This writer would have made a lot of sense if he had drawn the similarities in Eric Amoateng's case, where President kuffour and his Majority MPs in Parliament not only preserved the property of Amoateng, but continued to pay his salary. Thry even threw him a party upon his return. Not only that Akkufo Addo restored the property of his cousin who had been jailed for drug trafficking, and tried to bring incarcerated drug barons from abroad to serve their jail terms in the country. The NPP claim cocaine allegations against Nana Addo by NDC contributed for his defeat in 2008 and 2012. If perceptions have such big influence in politics, why did they retain him as the flag bearer? Have they been able to clean him of those allegations?
