its about time, those churces friom ghana who are using the name Ghana on their methodis logo and keep saying oh we are going to United metodist oh we are united people to stop. Ghana means Ghana.
its up to the new presiding Bishop to face the bull by the horns and stop beating about the bush.
Ghana calvry Methodist NW. is one goods example. these people are lost, they cant for almost ten years make a choice ot where they belong.
and how can we sit down and let our brothers and sisters be fooled by just 2 or 3people only.

Now their pastor Rev. Addo Narthy has been incorpreated into the Ghanaian Pastoral membership, why cant they join the Ghanaian Methodist camp and keep hanging there?

its about time The new Bishop vist this sheep and thier leadrs plus pastor to know what their worries are. I believe this should be in a society system, so that each and every member could talk his mind.
if he goes there in the form of leadership talks he would fail, for there are some 2 naco heads there who would not listeng to ant thing (Bismark and Kofi Poku).

i visited this chrch and got to know most of them think their chuch is under Ghana conference. Isn't this a shame.See there are most of the chrch people, who dont even know the History of this churc.
All I was told is Mr. KOFI POKU and BISMARK are the wat lords of this church. deatiledly, these people were not registered or even born as methodist people.
What a SHAME.
Bishop do not sit down and let these people lost, for they are the sheep of the kord.

We all know that the original Methodist was from England. I feel we should all become part of the Methodist Conference of Great Britain, Plymouth, since the Methodist Church originated from there. This year's Conference will be held at Methodist Central Hall, Westminster, from 4-11 July, 2014, and Britain is not forcing anybody to join them. If Britain is not laying claim, why should Ghana?
God's word is not divided, so let's continue with the freedom of God's word.

This was the first time i have experienced such mind blowing topics on "You are my witnesses" from powerful men of God. And on the Sunday Service to crown the AGM,the SMC, Bishop Asare delivered a powerful message on "LOVING ONE ANOTHER" to the congregants. Brethen, I have read some of the comments you have posted and i beg to differ with some of them. The Ghana Methodist Churches here in North America and Canada are all under the Ghana Conference and as is the aim of every church,we preach on the word of God and foster unity amongst ourselves. As the bible says on John 3:16, " For God So Loved the world, that he gave his only Son,that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life" Please, it is not too late to change your mind and be part of all the great Societies in the US and Canada. It is very close to my house, and i have thougt of been a member, and as this topic have oozed out, i am waiting to see where they belong. if it is not part of ghana Confrence, why than do they use the name Ghana? i see all the people dressed to the church as ghanaians, so why do people claim ist not a Ghanaian Metodist. I was told the Pastor there is from Ghana too, so why?
I just moved into this state from Arizona, so where can I get an original Ghana Methodist to worship with my Family?

You can go to the church and find out how they do things. I understand they have opted to join United Methodist Church so the young ones will not be left out. They also believe that United Methodist have the structures in place for our young and future generation.
If you're really genuine, waiting to see will not help you because worshiping is spiritual not what you think it. Visit them to find out.

Separating to unite is dangerous. The peace we need will not be achieved if we pursue division. United Methodist Conference went through this and they resolved by becoming United. Why do we begin the same road which in the first place divided them and they had to come together later to resolve. We'll do well to help Ghana if we team up with United Methodist Conference rather than building another office and structure. We all know that United Methodist has more projects in Ghana than the Ghana Churches in US do.
