Nowhere does the guidelines allows the formation of any other organ such as this so-called Zongo Caucus.

No one is telling you not to identify yourself with zongo. What we are saying is that, when it comes to the External Branches of the NDC, recognition is based on the geographical area (e.g. town or city)in which the branch is located. Can you tell me which part of the USA is known and called Zongo?
Let's say, the people from Bantama residing even in one location in the USA cannot use that name as a branch because it does not identify with any city in the USA. First of all, one should have a branch before having a caucus.
The question I want to ask is that, does NDC Secretariat in Accra recognize any Zongo branch in the USA? If not, then why are you using the name Zongo Caucus when in fact, you live in Bronx, New York? Because of people like you that is why the NDC guidelines does not allow recognition of such groupings.
Just do the right thing or work in co-ordination with NDC USA Chapter instead of every branch trying to issue statements, most of the time messing up and making mockery of themselves.

I have nothing against Zongo or the people living there. Even though I come from the south, I can speak Hausa, Dagbani and Gonja very well. I attended schools in Savelugu, Tamale, Pong-Tamale and Damongo. I am not new to zongo as in my school days, that was where I used to get my fresh pito and TZ. Some of my classmates and friends were from the zongos and I used to spend time with them there.
What I mean to say is, we should not bring zongo to America. There are members of NDC in the USA who come from other places in Ghana. Should they also get together and form caucuses to start fighting for recognition or should all NDC members in the diaspora be together as one people of the Akatamanso family? These type of fragmentation will not help us build a viable political.
Instead of your so-called unofficial Zongo caucus speaking on behalf of their NDC members from New York, why not let NDC-USA Chapter which is the duly recognized umbrella organization representing the various NDC Branches in the USA do the talking?
In Ghana where zongos actually exist, there are NDC Wards and they can have their caucus speak on their behalf but not in the USA where there are no zongos. You can show me towns and cities in America. However, can you show me a single zongo in America? Let's be truthful to ourselves if we want to be future leaders of our great country.

Why are our folks in such an advanced country like USA be reasoning like they just arrived here? I am particularly disappointed to read this piece and in fact, having being in the USA for sometime now feel ashamed. I am not sure who you represent, but I do not think most of the NDC sympathizers in the USA believe in this piece you put up here.
