Ghana now ranks number 11 in Africa, 3 spots down from the 8th position it used to be in for so many years.
Imagine countries like Cote D'Ivoire, Kenya, Tanzania and Angola economically ranking higher than Ghana?
How did Ghana get here? Are Ghanaians just too lazy or too complacent to hold their government accountable?
Or are Ghanaians simply unpatriotic and careless about their country?

Government should stop sponsoring people to study outside. The scholarship secretariat was established by Kwame Nkrumah at the time we gain independence. We didn't have the required man power so it was necessary to send people outside the country to study and return to support the development of the country. We have over 100 universities in the country at this time so I dont think it is necessary to continue to send people to outside universities. Those universities may not even be better than Ghanaian universities. Government should rather channel those resources to support free SHS.
