Please, CFA Chairman come again. Cotton collapsed because of several factors. Poor seeds, low and poor mechnization, etc. Cotton, unlike other crops is highly competitive and if you sit and plant one acre, you will yield nothing. Large scale commercial farming is the answer. Ginneries will sit if the Minister treats it like cassava.

Hmmmn, we have never be sensible. The whole value chain from cotton to textiles and clothing is a huge employment and income generating sector which if our leaders had the most basic of commonsense, should have demanded serious attention instead of the broni w3 wu we import in droves in 40ft containers like candy.
With this sector, we could turn that industry into an export driven sector bringing in good revenue to the country and creating jobs. We have never had any serious leaders concerned about the development of this country and if the Akufo Addo NPP govt does not turn around the fortunes of this country, it is over. The NDC party is the dumbest party ever in this country.
