This position must be reserved for retired military or judiciary officers with impeccable record.People tend to forget that Mrs Osei's behavior during the registration process, voting and tallying the results almost plunged the country into civil war.The NPP and other parties were able to prove with undeniable evidence that NDC operatives had padded the national registration with foreigners.Instead of acting to expunge these names she got into a heated public arguments which portrayed her as biased and overwhelmed.Her worst shortcoming was on full display when she illegally delayed the release of the election causing unnecessary tension, doubt, apprehension and anger among the citizens.We need an stable officer of the state of an impeccable character and record who can discharge his or her duties without favour or malice.

Good job done new finance minister. This gov't needs to do more to boost the confidence of the ordinary Ghanaians. We all lose hope in this system. But hope things will change.
