    Think you are missing the point. This is a staff loan the repayment of which should not go beyond one's date of retirement. Staff loans are normally deducted from staff salary and must be paid in full if one wishes to leave. ...

    Nothing wrong with getting a loan and paying it back. That clown in 1979 made it a crime to take a loan, hence idiots believing it is so now , regardless of collateral and actively paying it back

    What's wrong if he takes a housing loan? He is supposed to pay. I trust other private individuals do collect much bigger amounts loans legitimately from other sources. It not a big deal.

    He can not pay back by any means; this is not even a business loan. Prove to me he can pay. Remember this is money for Ghanaian workers, some of who are being paid GHC300 per month in retirement.
