Ghana port and habours authority is financially weak to the extent that this year, 2016 wage review for staff has become a big challenge, and the authority is finding it very difficult to increase salaries at all levels of different class of workers within the port both Tema and Takorafi. GPHA can never solve the challenges at the PSC Tema Shipyard, the GoG should rather consider GNPC and SSNIT who have the financial muscles and capital strength to revamp the PSC Tema Shipyard. Thank you

i think the Tema District Council of Labour of MDU, should leave we the workers of PSC TEMA SHIPYARD alone, they can't just put out a statement without talking to the workers first. Since when did they realise that the shipyard is in crises, they should stop passing through the back door .We the majority workers of the shipyard have resolved to take our destiny into our own hands and make sure we go for the best. The troubles the shipyard is facing now is the doing of some members of the district council of Labour MDU.as they have done by publishing this article without consulting the general workforce. The MDU should leave us alone and mind their own internal affairs since there are division in their front. They should speak the truth since when did Nii-La or Fred have met the workers to ask for their concerns before? They should give us a break. MDU needs a total over hauling to be up standing on their activities / duties. Some MDU executives are in bed with management of PSC against the work force and this has caused a massive division among the workers as they continue to work with old executive of the Shipyard against the newly elected responsible executives. They should stop this propaganda and mind their own business. We know what they are up to so they should shut up and think about their own business. The Honorable Transport Minister has told the workers that a new policy for the yard will be announced this week so that's what we are waiting for not useless article from a hidden group of people. Thank you for your unwanted service. WE ARE SORRY.
