Hmmmmm...I wish some of those KNUST Engineers will find a way to widen the cattle crossing under the railway overpass in East Legon to Spintex underpass.

Robert, thanks for your offer of free advert. Much appreciated. I shall provide you with the relevant information and links to enable you do what you do best to extend the frontier if influence of this innovation. Our main objective is to grow this technology to take root in Ghana alongside similar products like Samsing in South Korea, Toyota in Japan, etc. The challenge now is to change the planting method from the traditional random or haphazard pattern to planting in rows preferably on ridges to comply with mechanical harvesting especially during the dry season. We need all hands on deck to enable Ghana and Africa use this technology to unlock the huge industrial potential of cassava and transform it into a multi billion industry on the continent.

This corrupt government led by president John Dramani Mahama will not see the important of this mechanize machine because it invented by a Ghanaian and not whiteman so he does not see important of it because he will not benefit corruption out it when he rally to support. Here is my prove,We all witness and bear witness that our own Apostle Kwadjo Safo has manufactured and produce cars but president John Dramani Mahama who goes around preaching buy made in Ghana product abandon Apostle Kwadjo Safo vehicle productions to buy foreign manufacturing vehicles for his corruption gains and self benefit. The only way that inventors and manufacturers can benefit is Ghanaians vote Mahama out of power to stop the corruption that he is addicted to and bedevil his soul.

I think it's also about time that the universities and institutions of higher learning establish business incubators, strictly business entities to help bring such inventions to market. We should not expect the engineer to also be a patent expect, proficient in marketing and knowledgeable in business finance....
Besides government is not the answer to all problems. Let's encourage govt to create the enabling environment for private enterprise/businesses to survive and be innovative. ...Frankly, generally governments create more problems than they solve

Patent the product now before it is too late.
Prof. Bobobee mentioned a number of constraints which has hindered the coming into fruition of a lot of successful research projects which could transform the Agricultural sector from one of being manual-based to mechanized agricultural production.
Suffice to say, these identified limitations are not confined to just the Agricultural sector but across a very wide variety of disciplines ie the lack of interventions that bridges the gap between institutional research/development and commercialization of these ideas with beneficial effects on the socioeconomic development and growth of the country.
And until leadership begins to take a critical and serious look at these matters with a view to leapfrog our industrialization drive as opposed to the mediocre, which has attended the governance of this country, Ghana is not going anywhere soon enough.
We say ayekoo to Prof. Bobobee and KNUST for a job well done. We pray to see more of such positive life-changing endeavors.
