    Good however only $4 million dollars will go no where. It shows they are not really serious.

    If Randgold go through with the deal and all aprovals are granted, Rangold will have to invest a lot more than $4M to turn Obuasi around, and they will.

    Real project is about a1 billion Dolars.4m is to finish the Due Diligence and Feasibility studies. Open Pits will be mined to fund the actual cost needed for the projetc. I think Randgold wants a presence in Ghana.At least th ...

    The people of Obuasi must fight for the proper development of their town and not just accept token projects. Think about the day when the gold runs out. You could easily become a ghost town.
