Well, even non bankers and non economists know that when you borrow so much and spend so much on interest payments its takes ages to service a debt. And the longer you leave it, the more interest you pay. The creditors aren't stupid. If the incumbent hadnt been so gung ho on blowing cash and wasting money like it grew on trees,.. Now with all the losses in oil, gold, low exports, high debt, and way over interest rates,... Why do we keep getting stuck in this same shit hole year in year out every time ndc is around? And I don't mean the past 6/7 years either. I give up.

GH¢1.5 billion of interest payment is for external interest,
GH¢8 billion is for domestic interest payments.
figure for external interest is way low considering most of our cash is from external.
