ECG is full of criminals including from the very top. Until they clean their houses and do the right thing by making electricity affordable for every Ghanaian to use and pay for it, the illigal connections will continue. That is why the government must act and now, to privatise that corrupt company. Their workers have master cards with which they use in their diabolical acts. I wonder how many of them and their family members pay electricity bills. Privatization is the way forward.

In electrical transmission and distributions systems, losses can't be stopped and is directly proportional in some cases, to the length of the transmission lines, but the span or length of cable or network we have in Ghana, there is no WAY we can get losses around 6% per hrs.of Gwh capacity available.
It's a created Pam to divert attention and loot waa waa.
The Kvar, Kv and Kw in transmissions exist in more advanced Countries even with quality booting system and Countries such as USA, Canada, Russia, UK where there are Ring Main divided circuit whose span surpassed that of our measured length of span don't even record 5% losses.
Stop the lies, illegalities in the system is minute and is not up to what you people are saying.

Illegal connections may be a "lie" but the government still owes ECG millions in bills. This keeps ECG from paying its bills to VRA.
How can you put plans into action when the government can't even pay its bills.

There must be a revolutionary change in management as the country cannot support such a high level of losses. This loss over the years could have supported our budget deficits

ECG management should be serious when it comes to setting targets. The 2% loss reduction target is not stretching. They are setting low targets only to come back and tell us they have achieved. They should target reducing the loss to 10% and not 22%. It is only when we get to 10% that they may realize they are overcharging some of us and reduce cost
