But you want to export more fruits to Europe and America. If they too refuses our products what will be the outcome? You better help our farmers with new technology to improve their production to enable us buy it cheaper.

Help the farmers directly with expertise, marketing(including adverts),raise taxes on poultry imports and subsidize farmers( Thats what happens in America). Can minimize cheap imports with laws(Again Americans do it)

Ghana is not ready to take the market from foreigners. This can only be possible if our farmers can produce same quantity and quality at the same cost else you will create shortage or deny us proteins. Invisible hands must work even though our cedi is collapsing. Your analysis would be good if you have thought of the cost quantity and quality.

It is certainly not better it is cheaper than the local chicken meat for two reasons. 50 percent of chicken feed is imported. No local substitute. The foreign governments subsidize their the poultry industry

Government is partly to blame because it wont make it simple for promotion of local. But one item of serious concern is that everyone knows that China especially has the highest percentage of H1N1 flu virus in poultry and H7N9 Influenza. So why isn't there a ban on poultry from china?
Ghana chicken is correct and tasty. One bite and you are done for. As for the other one,... less said the better.
