Ghanaians have been known not to pay debts so they have to protect themselves with high interest rates and fees. The other side of it is that if you have a relative working at a bank you would not be happy if they got fired ... read full comment

[ for consideration to put the lien] as requerd by law.
we are also heard that the bni and the justice dept are looking into it right now. we also heard in Ghana divorce court that this bank placed a lien on a lady home which she own alone without her husband but that the bank gave the husband money on a home that don't belong to him but rather to his wife.
[without her consent]
the only think the wife got is illegal lien against her home which she never consent or agree to it. the lady now attempting to have the bank remove the lien and sorces are saying that if they the bank refues to remove the lien ,she will be filling a criminal law suit against the bank using one of the best and biggest law firm in Ghana that will sue not only the bank but also the bank ceo

Oh my people, WHY DO WE JUST KEEP COMPLAINING AND COMPLAINING ? Why will you use your ATM CARD to pay for 7 cedis worth of goods ? I use ATM and am charged $3 by my Bank. But I don't go to the ATM for 7Ghc.
