Honestlyr, the earlier Mr. SethTerkper and his entire staff at that Ministry go for a crash program in business communication, the better it will be for the Mahana govt. This Ministry is seriously sowing seeds of panic in the economy, simply through the use of bad English expressions and words. No one is saying you must lie, but certainly there are better ways of saying that donir funds are not coming in as expected, instead of a blunt ‘drying up’.Perhaps, Dr. Ekow Spio Garbrah can help in this direction. The earlier the better!

One problem is the total cost of public projects - too high . Govt. may
have to "adopt some of the efficiencies and good practices of the private sector” to make the Partnership attractive.

Both "drying up" and "funds not coming" mean no money. Does it matter? So you get Dr. Garbrah to say it better and the problem goes away. What kind of thinking is that? Do you realize how often Garbrah sounds inane himself? You see, when the right things are done and the truth is told there is no worry about who is speaking. Mr. Segbafah I don't think you are an upright guy. What do you mean by "the earlier the better"? Is that the best advice you have in times of crisis? You should be advocating for substance, how to practically solve the economic thievery and gross mismanagement, instead of propaganda.

There is no focus for this country. We are borrowing to pay off debts, and still looking to donors for our development projects. What is going on, people? In the meantime, there is a massive revenue leakage in Ghana ports authority via excise duties and tariffs. Securing a job at one of Ghana's outposts as a border guard guarantees you an instant millionaire while the country bleeds to death. There are ghost names all over public service with public officials and politicians siphoning government funds into private accounts.
Our major source of foreign exchange revenue, gold, has been sold off to Anglogold by JA Kufuor and his NPP government, our oil is in the hands of foreigners and there is nothing we can do about it, thanks again to JA Kufuor and his NPP government under whose watch these plans were hatched and bungled. Now we have Chinese citizen roaming along our forests being aided by our chiefs for their own selfish interest - destroying the surface of our land and polluting our waters with chemicals all under the watchful eyes of our present government. Our corporate boardrooms are filled with Lebanese, Syrians, Indians, some French, and middle eastern persons who has no loyalty except to their respective countries. Ghanaian tax authorities connive and conspire with these foreigners to help them evade taxes which hitherto could be crucial to our development.
What kind of people are we? We love the foreigner more than ourselves. How can the Chinese come and take over our country? Can we black people go to China or Lebanon or Syria and take over these countries? This is exactly what we did during the slave era; we fought among ourselves and captured our own people and sold them to foreigners for useless things as mirrors, rum, and gunpowder. We are still doing it. JJ Rawlings and his NDC people sold over 300 state-owned companies not to fellow Ghanaians who had the means to buy them, but to foreigners during the 80s and 90s. The only Ghanaians who benefited from this wholesale of our companies are NDC apparatchiks. Kufuor and his NPP sold the most prized jewel in our country, Ashanti Goldfields Ltd. in 2003 to Anglogold so that he and his wife, Mama Theresa would go and entertain themselves with the Queen at Buckingham Palace. Why is the African so self-destruct?
