Cut the lazy workforce. A 25 million population with few workers who take more than half of the countries revenue. Isn't this absurd? Reduce the number of parliamentarians and that of the ministers to solve the problem. It is as simple as ABCD....
We need to be pro-active and we have useless brainless tink-tanks, IMANI and foolish talkatives like Casely-Hayford who only knows how to make noise instead of helping in public education about the state of the economy at the expense of few people. We are sorry to have a bunch of idiots parading theselves as experts in but DO NOT know anything about their so-called expertise. It's a shame.

How is gov't going to mitigate or reduce the public sector wage bill? We are sooner going to be hearing of laying off some workers. Redundancy will rear its ugly head again, while corruption will still be ignored. God save us. Even those who struggle to make a decent meal a day by the meagre salaries they receive through their engagement in the public sector are likely to be deprived of their sustenance as they may considered non-essentials hence redundancy. We are in for another structural adjustment program(SAP), thanks to the gross mismanagment of our economy by its managers and the unparalled levels of corruption that they and their cronies have immersed this nation into. They eat sumptuously, sleep soundly and enjoy leisure and vacations in very expensive places. They can draw per diem allowances for their participation in irrelevant board meetings and conferences unrelated to their functions. Yet, those who already squeezed tight of the negligible salaries must 'pay heavily for the sins' of the corrupt rich managers of our economy. God still keeps looking down. his eyes are wide open.

VIRTUALLY EVERYTHING SAID BY IMF HAD BEEN TOLD TO THIS NDC MAHAMA GOVERNMENT BY GHANAIAN ECONOMIST, FINANCIAL AND PROFESSIONAL ACCOUNTANTS (INCLUDING BAWUMIA) WITH THE SAME PROPOSED FISCAL AND ECONOMIC SOLUTIONS & CONTROLS - YET THEY HAVE BEEN REDICULED AND CALLED NAMES!!!!
GHANA'S ECONOMIC PROBLEMS ARE NOT GOING TO BE SOLVED BY THE SO CALLED EUROBONDS AND COCOA PURCHASING LOANS - (BORROWING AT HIGHER RATES TO PAY OFF MATURED LOWER RATES BONDS MAKING IT VERY EXPENSIVE AND WORSE THAN BEFORE IN DEBT SERVICING).
MAHAMA NDC GOVERNMENT NEVER LEARNS THAT THE SOLUTION CAN ONLY COME FROM FISCAL DISCIPLINE, BETTER PRIORITIZATION OF CAPITAL SPENDING (DEVOID OF CORRUPTION - INCLUDING OVERSTATING OF PROJECTS, AND LOWERING/CUTTING THE EXPENDITURES - TACKLING EXPENDITRUE SIDE OF THE EQUATION)
NEVER WOULD THIS GOVERNMENT BE ABLE TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM UNTIL IT CLEANSES ITSELF OF THE CANCER - INCLUDING CORRUPTION!!!!!

They don't have a success story. IMF is corrupt itself. It works on behalf of imperialism. Our folks know that but as long as they stand to gain personally, they are willing to throw us under the bus.
