Newmont Ghana is just bamboozling the people of Ghana with all these figures and presents which do not account for what Ghana is really entitled to. The Government of Ghana needs to investigate the whole process and come up with the truth. What we actually need to do is to buy them out and run it ourselves. We have done it before and we can do it again. The way they got this mine was due to a conspiracy, and a lot of chicanery by the West. Ghana must buy it back and close it down. Long live Ghana!

Ghana should kick Newmont Mining out of the country for retaining all the profits they make and not investing in the communities that they operate. I am saddened by the incompetency of our leaders to allow such a company to steal outr precious gold from Ghana. Somebody should ask Newmont how much profit did they make on the meager taxes that they paid. Oh Ghana, God has blessed us with resources and good soil we are still poor. We have gold, diamond, manganese, bauxite, timber, cocoa, good agricultural soil and now oil and we are still poor. Dubai only had natural gas deposits and they have used it to turn the country into the envy of the world. I am so sad for mother Ghana.
