WHY THIS NEWS? THE POLICY WAS PREPARED IN 2009 AND LAUNCHED IN JUNE 2010 AND I WAS THERE. I HAVE A COPY. RECENTLY AGI ACCUSED THE GOVT OF HAVING DONE NOTHING TO IMPLEMENT THE POLICY.

The Agricultural and other Produce will need to be transported on the railways. Ghanaians should now start thinking of RAILWAYS SERVICE, and start pumping into the heads of the decision makers to start thinking of bringing back the Railway system that helped to exploit our natural rescources.

The devil is in the details. This is just a statement. A statement is not a policy. Give us the details.

Forgot about this. For any industrial
policy sort out the infratsructue component(roads, ports, railwys), tax laws, water and electricity , skills component then the rest will follow.

After 8 months in the position, Mahama is just using rhetorics and promises just to buy time.
1. i won't tolerate corruption (no action on the ground to back it up)
2. we want chiefs to "name" and "shame" politician bashers (do chiefs make policies in Ghana or the presidency?)
3. We have industrial policy (nothing to show for on the ground, no timeframes given for implementation of that policy, mere talk)
4. etc.
It unfortunate thery poor who voted for this government becuase of their disadvantage in the society are being trampled down upon being a president who feels that being electe president is his own personal acievement so who don't agree with him can go to hell, hence he has no sense of care for anybody.
