On servral occassions after claiming my baggages prior to exiting the international airport(terminal 3) to domestic airport (terminal 2), when i get to the immigration point, there are always immigration officer who do something i call "purposive sampling" with the blacks to sample Ghanaians, once you are from Ghana, you are asked to drop your baggages through an electronic check and thereafter you will be asked to open your baggages for physical checks. This is not done to any other black if s/he is found not to be from Ghana.
Our embassy is aware of this but they are just hands down. This is all because our so call Consular in Beijing, China embassy is just a rubber stamp. The yes sir master kind of job they do there does not give them any power to ask question and put things right. In fact, they are not there because of Ghana but there because of China - that is their music.
Like i said in one of the thread, the Chinese in their own country are not allowed to mine for any minerals but our leader have made Ghana a freezoon for them to mine and pull down all our cocoa trees and even practise prostitution in Ghana.
Ghanaian leaders are just selfish. Youth, we need to wake up!!

It quite interesting our government/leaders have continuously kept mute on this issue of Chinese illegal miners all over the country. Ghana is now considered by these Chinese as a free zoon. In fact, the Chinese are really in charge of Ghana now. The control immegration officer, police oficers and etc who we believe should know better. If any Chinese people behaviour and you said you will call the police they tell you, oh Ghana police, like "money money". Oh yeah, they can even shoot and kill Ghanaians and it will be a folish case maximum within a month.
As yourself why the Chinese people are trooping into the country. The reason for the Chinese constant trooping into the country is because they have identified the people of Ghana including our leaders are cheap to buy and very easy to control.
It will interest you to know that, in China, no Chinese national can, or will attempt or will ever be allowed by their Chinese government to mine for any minerals - even as small as an atom tonnage of ore for gold. If you try, you will be arrested and charged. In Ghana, even the most poorest Chinese person will be raised shoulder high and encourage to mess up with our precious land, not only even that, the land that we have our high foreigning exchange and long lasting life saving - cocoa trees, all of which are being pull down because of Chinese people in search of gold all because of some few cedis.
Has anybody ask him if all these Chinese people we find in our country have valid visa to stay and work? Never! That is not the case, there will definately be some Chinese people who do not have valid visa to stay in Ghana let alone work in Ghana but they can stay, work and even travel out and back of Ghana without anybody questioning them. Go to Ghanaian embassy in Beijing - China, they are issue Visa to these Chinese people like water. In fact, they are more interested solving the Chinese people problem than the Ghanaian out of which they are in China.
This is a topic i will need a full website to write about as it quite serious they way they do treat some of our Ghanaians who have over stayed though but are ready to come home. The more serious aspect of the whole story is that the Ghanaian Embassy in Beijing China instead them offering you some form of assistance, you rather push you out of their office in the cold weather to fight for yourself. In fact, it a very sad story and topic to talk about.

It is interesting that the only thing our chiefs can feel passionate about is fighting a blind minister from taking care of their interests because dealing with the disabled is against their so-called traditions. And yet these same overly privileged buffoons can destroy that which the traditions of Ghana are actually founded upon- the land with all its flora and fauna. Before Christianity we believed in a truer, more earthly God - the God that moves through all that exists; a pantheistic divinity that encompasses all. Thus the land of Ghana will punish the Ghanaians for this destruction - it is not just primal religion, but also simple Gaia theory and common sense.
Depower the chiefs now; they have been betraying Ghanaians since slavery and colonialism- empower ordinary Ghanaians so that we can progress with a meritocratic, egalitarian society.
We need to protest, as this problem will get worse and we will end up with an environmental Chernobyl.

Anybody got any ideas for how we go about this? The focus should be on strengthening environmental protection for our land and ensuring accountability - anything xenophobic or racist I will not take part in; morally and because I think it is a red herring.

Violent protest is not the answer; for those of you who think so then you are lower than the person that you seek to harm in every sense. Why use an unjust and evil form of expression to protest against the unjust and the evil? All it results in is a worse world, a worse Ghana.
Peaceful protest is better, it takes more patience, more compassion and more brains. It is the only real way to establish a long-term change that everyone will subscribe to. It is also the sort of protest that people look at and join, that the media looks at with empathy. Peaceful protest can change minds and turn good people to your cause, violent protest destroys minds and turns good people away.

Mr. President, you have the power to at once stop this rot going on in the country and be the hero of the people. All lands owned by stools must be channeled through the lands department and the proceeds paid to the stool owning the land! This way, a competent government knows who the land belongs to and for what purpose the is being used for.
