In as much as i agree with Chief, the Ghanaian and African student has got their position diluted to a point that a prominent King suggested that in the near future a Bachelors Degree holders will find nothing but to resort to sweeping and cleaning to eke out a living.
The Akans have a proverb which insinuates that one does not rob his inlaws if one falls on hard times but this is exactly what our fore bearers have perpetuated on the younger generations, my son advised me to stop attacking our predecessors but all the evident points to not only their poor judgement but deliberate wrong actions a pointer is the accommodation issues students undergo year in year out
Now to the substance of the matter which is the preparedness of the Ghanaian student for a life after the classroom, honestly what can one expect from an 18 year old who has spent all their life learning one thing or the other, this responsibility again falls on elected power who by virtue of their position have a birds eye view of events and is properly dispose to make these types of decisions

Am beginning to believe that it's a deliberate attempt on the part of the politicians to not be so truthful to the populate and continue to keep them in ignorance about their incompetence about solving societal problems and plays into one of Fela's song that in Africa as time goes by things continue to get worse instead of getting better like the rest of the world a Ghanaian youth of the Economic Fighters league asserted what i consider a theory and is my hope that it is not a reality and i will share his views. He is asserting that Ghanaian and African leadership use ignorance and poverty as a tool to keep the masses improvised a word to the wise is enough
