This so-called concern by ICCO is a sham. How can EU threaten not to buy cocoa while at the same time lamenting about shortfalls. How can farmers and the nation spend large amounts of labour and inputs to produce cocoa only to receive paltry sums of $2000 for a ton. Cocoa production only breeds poverty for the farmers and the nation and it's hightime we boldly take a decision to either abandon cocoa farming or engage in strong negotiations to secure justifiable prices both at the farm gate and export levels

The stupid blame game of Npp , NDC is crazy and we the youth understand these corrupt evil blame games for sympathy votes. Cocobod itself needs restructuring to cut down waste in manpower. So many employees at the headquarters without any job or work to do. Unnecessary wage bills crippling the one time vabrant company.
