Referee Tony Weeks tours Cape Coast castle

Legendary boxing referee from U.S.A, Tony Weeks, toured Cape Coast Castle on Sunday.

Weeks who officiated Ghana’s Isaac Dogboe’s WBO international super bantamweight title defense against Argentine Javier Chacon last Saturday at the Bukom Boxing Arena took a time of his busy schedule to visit the old Cape Coast Castle.

It will be a visit to remember for the American after touring the Cape Coast Castle – the old edifice is an historic site for foreigners especially Black Americans. Weeks then signed a special VIP guest book, he is expected to depart Ghana for U.S.A today.
