Ghana's national amateur boxing team, Black Bombers have arrived and begun training in the Ashanti Regional capital, Kumasi as they intensify preparations for September's All Africa Games in Congo.

17 males and three female boxers who have been training in Accra for over a month and spearheaded by coaches, Ebenezer Quaye, Daniel Lartekwei Lartey and Vincent Akai Nettey are in Kumasi on a training tour bigwigs of the Ghana Amateur Boxing Federation (GABF) believe can imbibe more exposure and experience.

Accordingly, the Black Bombers will move to Koforidua after about a week in Kumasi before returning back to Accra to round up preparations for the continental showpiece.

"We are training very hard and believe we can bring 5 or 6 six medals from the All Africa Games, all we need is the continued support of government and all Ghanaians. Keep praying for us," Ebenezer Quaye, head coach of the Black Bombers told our weekly magazine show, Dornu's Corner this week.
