Ray Narh: I’m not finished yet

Ghanaian boxer Raymond Narh has, in an exclusive interview with Sportscrusader.com, revealed that his glory days are far from over despite his failure to win the October 1st bout against compatriot Frederick Lawson in the United States of America.

Undefeated welterweight Champion, Lawson was too powerful for his senior boxer, Narh, in the 10-round boxing bout in California with pundits calling for the retirement of the latter.

The 36 year old boxer is nearing the twilight of his career after disastrous professional boxing in the United States of America.

But the America based Ghanaian boxer, in an exclusive interview with Sportscrusader.com, said his best in the game is yet to come.

“I’m never going to retire now, I have a very good team and a good manager, so why should I retire when I’m just 36 years old.

“I want to keep on fighting till I get into my 40s. In boxing, you cannot say because you lost one fight you are going to retire.”

“I will fight on till I feel weak in the ring, if I cannot go for trainings and all that, that is when I will consider this decision.”

“For me I think that with much training and much effort, I will be able to even win a world title at my age, my best is yet to come if you ask me.”
