Goldstar Airlines juvenile boxing talent hunt train stops at Gbese next

After belling off to huge success at James Town, Gbese is next stop on the Goldstar Airlines sponsored recruitment of talented teenage boxers itinerary.
The novelty juvenile boxing talent hunt and recruitment continues this weekend when Gbese take its turn to host the tournament reserved for youngsters between the ages of 12 and 16.
A huge crowd including the Gbese Mantse, Nii Ayi Bonte II (former Hearts of CEO, Tommy Okine) as well as kingmakers of the area and Ghanaian boxing chiefs are expected to throng the venue to charge the atmosphere even more than what transpired at James Town Roundabout last Sunday.
A total of 20 promising boxers were selected on the opening night by the Will Power gym led technical team but according Goldtar Airlines who are sponsoring the nationwide boxing talent hunt, they expect an even bigger patronage on recruitment day 2.
"Yes our next stop is Gbese. We got 20 boxers in James Town so we are hoping to get even more in Gbese this Sunday. The rules remain the same, recruiting novice boxers who may eventually become world champions," Eric Bannerman, CEO of Goldstar Airlines has told Allsports.com.gh exclusively.
"We are also expecting as usual a very large crowd including some high profile persons like the Gbese Mantse himself and some of his kingmakers," he added.
Sponsored by Goldstar Airlines, the indigenous airline which has yet to fully become operational, the boxing talent hunt is supervised by former boxing champion, Napoleon Tagoe who heads the Will Power Boxing Gym. The programme is expected to travel all over Ghana every Sunday with the talents recruited getting the opportunity for their skills to be honed in pursuit of world championship.
The train however will halt next weekend, 5th October due to engagements of one of the technical directors but the programme will bounce back on 12th October at Busia, also in the Ga-Mashie area.
