South African Official Named For Tagoe/Reyes Bout

South African Stanley Christodoulou has been appointed the referee for the upcoming WBA International Lightweight contest between Ghana’s Emmanuel Tagoe and Joebert Reyes from the Philippines.

The WBA have also appointed Erkki Meronen (Finland), Wally Snowball (South Africa) and Frederick Ghartey (Ghana) as the judges for the bout being staged by Baby Jet Promotions on April 24.

The clash between Tagoe and Reyes is the main event of the bout to come off at the Tennis Court of the Accra Sports Stadium.

Both headline fighters are in the final stages of their preparations towards the fight in Accra.

The fight night also features an undercard fight between Ghana’s George ‘Red Tiger’ Ashie and Ronald Pontillas also from the Philippines.

The bout will be beamed live across over 50 African countries by SuperSport.
