Julius Kennedy Fights On Saturday

Pikesville, MD - Saturday night is fight night for Lynchburg's Scott Sigmon.

The 23-year-old takes on Julius Kennedy of Ghana in a scheduled 10-rout bout in Pikesville, Maryland outside of Baltimore.

This is Sigmon's eighth fight this year as he works toward his ultimate goal of winning a world title. He's now 12-and-2 overall and says at this point, he's got to win every time he fights.

"It's like a playoff situation in football. Every single fight in boxing, one loss you go way down the pay scale. You know, three or four or five losses I'll probably never be able to fight for a title," Sigmon said.
