GAABA releases week eight fixtures

Accra, April 19, GNA - The Greater Accra Amateur Boxing Association (GAABA) has released the fixtures for week eight of the inaugural amateur boxing league, scheduled for the Prisons Canteen in Accra on Friday, April 20.

Top on the bill will be the all Fit Square Gym Bantamweight affair between Jessy Lartey and Duke Micah.

Both boxers have thrilled patrons in the previous bouts, which make the week 8 clash, a must watch for all.

Mike Ansah of Square Deal Gym will engage Kwartey Quartey of Cassius Annan Nettey Gym, also in the bantamweight division. In the featherweight division, Fit Square's Nii Ofoli Tetteh will square up with Isaac Sackey of Attoh Quarshie Gym while, Ayena Ayerica of the Wisdom Gym slugs it out with Jackson Nortey of the Fit Square Gym.

Francis Adams of Bronx Gym will come up against Eric Addy of Will Power Gym in the lightweight division. Attoh Quarshie's Offei Duodu has a daunting task against Yaya Afra Sackey of Sagacious Gym with Eric Doku of the Will Power Gym contending with Joshua Barnor of the Panix Gym, in the same division. In the Light welterweight category, Prince Parry of the Bukom Gym comes face to face with Francis Gakpetor of Osu Ultimate Gym, while Liase Gym's Godwin Aryee battles Abu Iddrisu of Rangers Gym. The Welterweight division will see Ebo Electric of the Ashaiman Gym coming up against Ishmael Tetteh of the Will Power's Gym and, Raymond Commey of the Billy Kotey Gym against Paul Kofi of Dade Gym. Fuseini Yalo clashes with Stephen Abbey in the Middleweight division in an all De-Oak gym affair.

Bukom Gym's Theophilus Doudu will square off with Felix Agbozo of Ashaiman Gym, with Micke Sackey of Liase Gym engaging Saviour Tetteh of the Fit Square Gym in the same class.

Mawuli Akpali of the Ashaiman Gym and Abdulai Rauf of Bronx Gym will wrap up the night's action with a light heavyweight clash.
