US-based Michael ‘Amazing’ Gbenga has hit out on Ghana’s Boxing sensation and the ‘Mayweather of Africa’ as not being a serious boxer athlete.

He said Bukom Banku, hasn’t exhibited the zeal of a relentless boxer who is ready for every challenge thrown at him.

Gbenga (46 – 21, 5KO ), is still keen on a rematch with the Cruiserweight Champion Braimah ‘Bukom Banku’ Kamoko, so much so that he has declared a readiness to face the undefeated boxer for free.

Gbenga, who on his return to the ring lost against against J’Leon Love with a Technical Knockout (TKO), also saw three Ghanaian boxers also on the bill at DC Armory, Washington, District of Columbia, USA.

Gbenga has informed an anonymous media source of how he still has sights set on a potential Accra showdown versus Kamoko.

He said “Banku is not a serious athlete. He is not competitive, he gets free money without having to work for it,” Gbenga said of the man he lost to on a unanimous decision and the then-vacant Africa Boxing Union Light heavyweight belt to Kamoko on April 1, 2005.

“He’s scared to death of stepping in the ring with me again. So getting him to fight is like a dream and I am willing to fight for free, just to give the fans a meaningful and worthwhile competitive fight,” he narrated.
