Anthony Joshua has stepped up training ahead of his showdown against ex-heavyweight king Wladimir Klitschko.

Joshua has the chance to unify his IBF title with the vacant WBA belt when he collides with the Ukrainian in front of 90,000 people at Wembley.

The 27-year-old has begun his gruelling training to ensure he is in the best shape of his life to take on the veteran former champ, 40.The Brit uploaded a video to Instagram to show his followers exactly how he is doing so.

In a short clip, Joshua can be seen working out on a squat machine which targets the lower body to “enhance explosive power”.

Despite clearly pushing his body to the limit, grunting with each squat, Joshua captioned the post: “Eeeeaazyyyyyy.”

The machine offers up to 378kg of resistance – three times more than Klitschko’s heaviest weight of 112kg in his second bout against Samuel Peter in September 2010.
