Amateur Boxing Federation To Organise Justifier

Ghana Amateur Boxing Federation To Organise Justifier For The Black Bombers Ahead Of Africa Olympic Qualifier


The Ghana Amateur Boxing Federation (GABF) will be staging a justify-your-inclusion exercise for the National Amateur Boxing Team, the Black Bombers on Saturday, 25th February, 2012 at 3pm at the Bridge Boxing Gym, Roman Ridge – Accra, ahead of the Africa Olympic Qualifier scheduled for 27th April – 6th May, 2012 in Casablanca, Morocco.
The Federation, through this exercise, aims at selecting a formidable squad for the Olympic Qualifier to ensure the Team’s qualification to the London 2012 Olympic Games.
The Boxers will be competing in nine (9) weight categories as follows: 49Kg, 52Kg, 56Kg, 60Kg, 64Kg, 69Kg, 75Kg, 81Kg and 91Kg.
The Exercise which is being sponsored by Mr. Dave Harper, Chief Executive Officer of Geodrill Mining Company, promises to be full of fireworks as all boxers will strive to book their tickets to Casablanca.
New Team additions from the United Kingdom namely: Isaac Dogboe, Michael Amoo-Bediako, Lerrone Richards and Joshua Buatsi will all have a chance to prove their worth in the 56Kg, 60Kg, 75Kg and 81Kg categories respectively.
The Federation invites all boxing enthusiasts to come witness what promises to be a fantastic and entertaining boxing fiesta.
