Twelfth for national bodybuilding contest

Accra, Oct 22, GNA - The Ghana Bodybuilders and Fitness Association (GBBFA) has concluded its selection process for the impending National Bodybuilding Championship dubbed the "The Battle of the Gladiators".

The championship slated for the Osu Presbyterian Hall in Accra on November 23, had over the weekend 12 more bodybuilders joining the trail for the competition.

They were drawn from the Northern sector of the country after the association organised its qualifiers at Abusua Restaurant in Kumasi. The 12 include Peter Awuah, Kofi Salia, Mohammed Abdul Akim, Awuah Mensah, Owusu Mensah Isaac, Sadiq Abdul Rahaman, Musah Attah, Samuel Baidoo, Moh Vitus, Stephen Bonsu, Christopher Adams, and Louis Gborson.

Information gathered from the secretariat of the GBBFA by the GNA Sports said the 12 bodybuilders would now join nine other contestants who have already qualified for the national championship. They are expected to receive stiff opposition from their Southern Sector counterparts comprising the likes of King Sabato, Arnold Aryee, Obour, Eric Attoh and Mustapha Richardson.
