The demonstrators carried placards with inscriptions, “The bill is a killer,” “ Pass the Disability Bill now,” “Let us stop this NPP madness,” “We have only one Ghana, let us love it,” “We want peace and not mayhem”, among others.
Thousands of Ghanaians on Tuesday poured onto the streets in Accra to either take a glimpse at or participate in a demonstration against the passage of the Representation of the People Amendment Bill (ROPAB).
