The four-hour demonstration, dubbed “Concerned Ghana for the Love of Ghana”, which was generally peaceful, started from the Kwame Nkrumah Circle at 10 a.m. and ended at Parliament House where the leadership of the demonstrators presented a petition to the Speaker of the House.
Thousands of Ghanaians on Tuesday poured onto the streets in Accra to either take a glimpse at or participate in a demonstration against the passage of the Representation of the People Amendment Bill (ROPAB).
