I was in my teens during the 1970s. Acheampong's regime ruled Supreme. Operation feed yourself was the mantra of the day. As a member of International Volunteers Association, my friends and I loved to sing Walantu walatu walasa. Wulomei became the folk modern band. They performed in State held occasions. Infact IK Acheampong loved the band too.
I still play wulomei songs to remind myself of those golden years, when I was in Secondary school. Fare thee well Naa Amanua. God be with you.
