Bryan Acheampong greedily attempted to seize control of everything—from SSNIT hotels to lands in Kwahu. When Daasebre stood his ground and refused to let him take over the Kwahu lands, he resorted to using his wealth and influence within the NPP to try and remove him through bribery and intimidation.

Thankfully, both the Regional House of Chiefs and the High Court dismissed this unjust attempt to unseat Daasebre. Even after the High Court ruled in Daasebre’s favor during the NPP administration, Bryan used his influence to block the enforcement of the ruling.

It’s troubling how Nana Addo allowed certain individuals like Bryan in the party to engage in such blatant misconduct for personal gain—actions that ultimately damage the party’s credibility and its connection with the Ghanaian people.
