My question is, of these two Government branches, the Presidency, and the Public Service Commission, which one of the two has the authority to appoint a CEO or Acting CEO of the Forestry Commission? If it's the President, and he seems to agree with the actions of the Acting CEO, then, of course, there's nothing the Public Service Commission can do. If, on the other hand, the authority rests with the Public Service Commission, why doesn't it flex its muscles and remove the acting CEO from the position, if he refuses to act on the Commission's decisions, after all, he is just acting in that position.
I believe, if somebody had acted assertively prior, the current tension might not have brewed. Something has to be done about it now to put an end to the shameful sparks of tension and bring tranquility to the Forestry Commission
