Ghana Premier League’s Goal King of the 2011 – 2012 season

In 2011 was called up for the provisional national squad for the Africa Cup of Nations, but did not make the final cut. In February he earned his first cap when the Black Stars played against Chile.
August 2012: Signed a contract with Mamelodi Sundowns in
August 2016: signed a one-year deal with Lebanese Premier League side Ijtimai. Baffour moves on a free agent after leaving AshantiGold last season following an unsuccessful spell.
