Daniel Kofi Agyei has joined Italian Serie B side S.S Juve Stabia from Fiorentina on a season long-loan deal. Agyei, a box-to-box midfielder, was captain of Fiorentina's Primavera squad but could not be assured a first team place next season.
He made his Serie A debut for Fiorentina in May 2010 against Bari when he came on as a substitute in the 48th minute for Marco Donadel.
The 20-year-old will move to the second-tier league where he can be guaranteed unlimited playing time.
Agyei has been likened to Chelsea ace Michael Essien because of his horse power and ball distribution.
He will join the Campania-based side next week to begin pre-season.
