Was one of the numerous potentials tipped to have carried the Black Stars to the world cup, has signed up for SSV Reutligen 05 for the 2002/03 seasons from Borrusia Dortmund.

Gambo, during his days with Borrusia Dortmund since the 1997/98 seasons to the 2001/02 league seasons played a total of seven games for the senior team failing to score. A former player of Ghanaian premier league club, King Faisal, Gambo played a total of thirty-one games for the amateur side and scored only one goal.

Gambo might now have the opportunity to showcase his talent at the age of 23 with the second division club, SSV Reutligen 05 as his soccer career has been that of ups and downs with Borrusia Dortmund.

In between his entire five years with Dortmund, he’s never stayed with the senior team for over a season. He kept on getting demoted from the senior side to the amateur team.

Before his present move, he never played a game for Dortmund’s amateur team where he was since 2000.
