The Communications Director of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Henry Asante Twum, has disclosed that Inaki Williams’ reason for retiring from the national team is to focus on his club career.
According to him, the Athletic Bilbao forward informed Black Stars head coach Carlos Queiroz about his decision, making it clear that he needed to concentrate solely on his club at this stage of his career.
The GFA spokesperson emphasized that Inaki did not show any signs of sadness or dissatisfaction regarding the team throughout his four-year stay.
