Bahner Fired?

Accra Hearts of Oak have terminated their relationship with German coach, Sanzio Bahner.

The coach is away on holidays but he has been told by his employers not to return to post when his contract runs out in December.

Joy Sports can confirm that the German coach has been served a letter by Accra Hearts of Oak.

According to a Hearts source, the club would be paying Bahner his salary for the two remaining months.

Bahner?s assistant, Dauda Lutterodt would be taking charge of the Phobians as they prepare for next season?s premier league and the African Champions League in February.

Sanzio Bahner before his departure was hopeful of returning to duty to build a team for Hearts of Oak?s continental assignments and next year?s premier league.

The German has taken a lot of flak for the failure of the Phobians to defend the league trophy this season.

But Sanzio Bahner insists that he is not to be blamed for the club?s inability to mount a successful defence of the league title.
