Accra, Nov. 2, GNA - Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) and Customs, Excise and Preventive Service (CEPS) qualified for the soccer finals of this year's Security Services Sports Association (SESSA) games scheduled for the El-Wak Sports Stadium, Accra on Saturday, November 5.
CEPS put up an impressive performance by beating the host, Immigration Service 1-0 while GAF edged out Prisons Service 2-1 in their semi-final encounters played at the El-Wak Stadium on Wednesday. Immigration who indicated their determination to win the competition but were stopped in their tracks would therefore now meet Prisons in the third- placed match on Friday, November 4. In the Basketball competition, CEPS also put up a sparkling performance to whip Ghana Police 100-55 while Ghana Police women's team made amends by whipping their GAF counterparts 100-30. Papa Owusu Ankomah, Minister of the Interior would officially close the games on Saturday, November 5.
