Cape Coast, Oct. 14, GNA - Cape Coast Venomous Vipers trounced Oguaa United 3-1 in a friendly soccer match played at the Robert Mensah Sports stadium on Thursday.
After the two teams had scored a goal each at the end of first half, it was Vipers, the Premier league campaigners who came back strongly into the game to bang in two more goals through Frank Mensah and Francis Yankey in the 65th and 75th minutes to seal the doom of United. Yankey, after collecting a midfield pass rounded up two defenders to score the third goal.
Oguaa United were not daunted by the goals and fought hard for redemption but they failed to find the net until the blast of the final whistle to end proceedings.
