Hearts to play African Stars

Accra, Sept 24, GNA - Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club would engage African Sports in a trial friendly match at the Azumah Nelson Sports Complex, Kaneshie on Monday.

A statement signed by Ashford Tettey Oku, Administrative Manager of Hearts said the match is part of the preparations being made by the Phobians towards their 24th week GT Premier League match against Okwawu United at the Nkawkaw Sports Stadium when the league resumes. The match would attract a flat rate of 5000 cedis at the gates. The match is a late replacement for the cancelled encounter between Hearts and Feyenoord on Sunday.

The Professional League Board on Friday cancelled all friendly matches scheduled for Sunday to enable all Ghanaians support King Faisal in their CAF Confederations Cup match against Fello Stars of Guinea on Sunday at the Baba Yara Sport Stadium in Kumasi.
